DuraTech sets the standard in
quality, design and performance for chimney systems.
Using ThermalTech blanket
insulation, DuraTech keeps the outer wall of the chimney cool
while ensuring high flue gas temperatures for optimum draft
performance. This also eliminates hot spots common with
loose-fill type insulations. No shifting, settling or
dangerous voids.
In the event of a creosote
fire, this compressible blanket insulation permits the chimney liner
to expand outward. This free-floating inner liner design also
permits the liner to expand lengthwise eliminating buckling and loss
of structural integrity associated with some solid-pack type
chimneys.
DuraTech's twist-lock
connections require no locking bands or other mechanical
fasteners. DuraTech is available in inner diameters of 5"-8",
lengths of 6", 12", 18", 24", 36" and 48" in stainless or
galvanized outer wall. Diameters of 10", 12" and 14" come in 12",
24" and 36" lengths with galvalume outer walls. All outer
diameters are 2" larger than the inner diameters.
The outer wall of DuraTech
Chimney is .016" 430-alloy stainless steel and the inner liner
is . 020" 430-alloy stainless steel and the inner liner is .020"
430-alloy stainless steel. The galvalume outer wall lengths
also have a 430-alloy stainless inner liner, .016" thick. The
10" and 12" lengths have the same features of the other galvalume
lengths.
When
double wall black stovepipe is needed, use DuraVent
DVL. DuraTech
Chimney is Tested and Listed to the UL 103HT
Standard for use with wood, oil, coal, and gas appliances in 5"-8" diameters; and the UL 103 Standard in
10", 12" and 14" diameters. DuraTech
Chimney carries a lifetime warranty.

 This Cathedral Ceiling Support has a built-in

Flashings
 Not alll DuraTech Flashings are
made of aluminum. Although more expensive, aluminum doesn't
rust and can handle the elements better than galvanized
flashings. Select the flashing based on the pitch of the
roof. For example, a 6/12 roof pitch has a vertical rise of
6" over a horizontal distance of 12"
On our left (in above picture) is our 7/12 to 12/12
pitch Flashing. We also have a 0/12
to 6/12 pitch flashing, not shown.
At right (in above picture) is our Flashing for Flat Roof installations.
Featured with this flashing is a Storm
Collar which you will need to order with all of our
flashings.

Shields
 Install the Firestop Radiation Shield, shown on bottom left
in picture, where a chimney passes thru a floor or ceiling without a
ceiling support.
Use the Attic
Insulation Shield, top right in the picture, for
installations that pass through an attic. It prevents
insulation and debris from accumulating near the chimney. It
consists of two parts - a collar and a base. Both are
galvanized.

Wall Thimble
 The Wall
Thimble adjusts from a minimum of 4: to a maximum of 9"
deep. Use this piece for your through-the-wall installations
in conjunction with a Tee and Tee Support. The Wall Thimble must be
installed with an appropriate length of DuraTech Chimney
pipe passing through it.
A Finishing Collar and a Chimney Adaptor will be needed to complete
the installation.
