Corn is a great, renewable energy source, but it comes with challenges for venting. The high-acid content of corn-burning exhaust is highly corrosive. Simpson Dura-Vent is the first and only venting manufacturer to offer a warranted solution. They have taken their highly successful pellet vent product and used a 304 stainless alloy for the inner wall. The outer wall is galvalume, just like its Pellet Vent brother. Dura-Vent Corn Vent is tested and listed to the UL 641 Standard. Simpson offers this product with a ten-year warranty. Installation of Dura-Vent Corn Vent is as easy as Dura-Vent PelletVent Pro. All the pipe and components are exactly the same except for the inner wall alloy. See the diagrams for Dura-Vent PelletVent Pro for typical installations and the components available. You can use the Corn Vent in both vertical and horizontal applications, a 3" clearance to combustibles is required. Connections are of the easy twist-lock variety. Joints are factory silicone sealed for airtight installation. Corn Vent is available in both 3" and 4" diameters. Cathedral Support & Ceiling Support/Firestop Spacer
Use the Ceiling Support /Firestop Spacer, at right in picture, when passing through a floor. Includes a Support Clamp.

The black portion attaches to the interior wall to give a nice finished look, and the galvanized section attaches to the exterior wall.

The Cathedral Ceiling Support Box, on left in picture, is used for flat or cathedral
ceilings. It's 14" tall and includes a Support Clamp and Trim
Collar. 
The House Shield includes stand-offs that allow air
circulation which provides protection from blower discharge in
horizontal venting situations. It's used with the
Adjustable Roof Flashing accommodates roof pitches from
0/12" to 6/12" and secures to the roof with silicone sealant and
roofing nails. 
For a horizontal
through-the-wall installation, here's the thimble to use. This
PelletVent Wall Thimble is
designed to fit between standard wall studs; it accommodates a
maximum wall thickness of 7". You'll need a 7 1/2" X 7 1/2"
square hole.
