Gas Log Underlayments For Vented Log Sets.
Silica Sand is used to maximize
diffusion of natural gas in the burner pan. Available in 8 lb.
bags and 50 lb. buckets. Vermiculite replaces silica sand in
propane installations. It is also used with natural gas for
increased "glow". Available in 1 lb. and 10 lb. bags.
Lava Rock (also called Volcanic
Cinders) is used to renew or replace the original rocks that came
with the logs. Comes in 5 lb. bags. Rock Wool is used to get the bright ember
effect with gas logs. Available in 1 lb. and 10 lb. bags.
Glowing Embers is a vermiculite
and rock wool mixture used to replace the original material to
recreate those like new, realistic "glowing embers." Available
in 8 oz, and 10 lb. bags. 
Enhance the beauty of your gas logs or hearth

a separate on/off switch and temperature control. Mount this
unit on the wall and run a wire to your millivolt gas valve for a
more convenient installation. Works with most units that use a
750-millivolt thermopile.

oxide coated metal housing with ceramic fiber insulation protects
your sensitive gas log remote receiver from heat. Its dark
color makes it almost unnoticeable in your gas log set, and
the oxide coating helps prevent rust. This is simply a must
for any log set with remote. 
This ingenious and simple device works with
your thermostat to heat a forced air home more efficiently when
the home uses a wood or gas stove for auxiliary heat.
You set the ThermGuard to turn on the furnace blower at specified
intervals and duration. The furnace blower then periodically
circulates your auxiliary stove heat throughout the house without
turning on the furnace heat. This can reduce your heating
bill by hundreds of dollars and make your home more comfortable.
Gas Starter Pipes
make it easy for anyone to start a crackling log fire. But
they do deteriorate with time and need to be replaced. Our
17" long Gas Starter Pipe has 1/2" pipe threads and installs
easily. The 1/8" diameter orifice emits the gas, allowing
the flame to quickly and evenly spread under the logs. We
carry three units with mixing chambers for use with natural
gas. Choose from T-style, 90 degree elbow, or "straight
through" design. We also carry a "straight through"
model with mixing chamber for use with LP gas. 
Gas Shut-Off Keys are
brass-finished replacement keys. We offer a 5/16" socket
size, in five lengths, 3", 8", 12", 18" and 24". If you
are forever losing yours, get a spare!
This gas safety pilot
control provides 100% shut off of both the pilot and main burner
gas supply in the event of a pilot flame failure. The
control is equipped with three-position gas control knob to light
the pilot. It also allows you to adjust the pilot
flame. If the pilot flame goes out during normal operation,
or if there is insufficient pilot flame to provide proper
thermocouple output, the gas safety pilot control will close,
stopping the flow of gas completely.
