Support Brackets (fits any size HomeSaver
Flex)
includes four brackets
Top/Bottom Support Brackets
Bolt our
12-ga. top/bottom brackets to each side of your HomeSaver
Flex.
The brackets
then rest on the top plate to provide support. It's a
great alternative to the traditional "wrap around"
style of top clamp.

Installed
Your support
brackets come with four 1/4" bolts and nuts. Drill a
17/64" hole in your flex for each bracket. Then put the
brackets on each of the four sides of your flex and bolt them
in place as pictured above. (Note: We offer a 17/64" Cobalt Drill
Bit, handy when drilling
stainless.)

Complete
Once you've
drilled your flex and bolted on your brackets, your
installation is complete.
The photo
above illustrates how the four brackets now rest on your top
plate, providing support all the way around. Naturally similar
support would be provided in using the four brackets with a
bottom plate. Remember these aren't just for RoundFlex -
use them with any shape or size of HomeSaver Flex. Some
find the brackets more convenient than having to order a
specific top clamp for each relining job. And they are
economical.

Though convenient,
this Universal Flex Connecting Band does not provide a
"male-end-down" connection. Use only when a flex
connector-adaptor is not available (as with Dial-A-Flex).

Cast-Iron Insert
Boot and Adaptor
The adaptor
provides a connection from Pro or UltraPro liner to a RoundFlex cast-iron insert boot. The
adaptor attaches to the insert boot collar with
screws.
HomeSaver RoundFlex is very flexible, but it ha
s a
substantial wall thickness and cannot be crimped.
You need this male/female connector-adaptor for the necessary
"male-end-down" joint. Use it when mating RoundFlex on top to
rigid pipe
below, RoundFlex to RoundFlex, RoundFlex to
OvalFlex via a S-O Adaptor, or RoundFlex to RectangleFlex via a
S-R Adaptor. A connector-adaptor is not needed when mating
rigid pipe on top to flex pipe on bottom.
The tee on the left
(>) features a special flared
top that allows HomeSaver RoundFlex to enter into it, giving you a
drip-free, "male-end-down" connection. Alternatively, you can
mate RoundFlex to a regular rigid tee by using the connector- adaptor,
featured above, as a transition between the tee and flex
pipe. Tee cover is sold separately.

Tee with Long, Removable, Crimped Take Off
The tee with 10" take-off (shown above
right >) makes it easy to get
down flues with off-sets. The 10" take-off is good for
passing through thimbles.

Top/Bottom Plates
These 18-ga. 304-Alloy
HomeSaver RoundFlex Top/Bottom Plates with rounded corners feature a
nice, tall, raised lip around the hole. See price list for
specific sizes for top plates with 3"-10" diameter holes.
Plates with 11" and 12" holes are available in 18" x 18" only.

These plates are part of the UL/ULC system Listed in 3"-12"
diameters for use with HomeSaver liners. The hole in these
plates is sized just big enough to let HomeSaver
RondFlex slip through during an installation and allow for
thermal expansion.
Naturally, these can be used either as a top plate - sealing
the top of an installation, or as a bottom plate - giving bottom
support for a fireplace reline. In the latter instance, these
plates work perfectly when used in combination with our Bottom Plate
Leg Support System, featured in Reliner
Adaptors, Etc.

Storm Collar and Top
Clamp
A storm collar minimizes moisture entry through the
hole in the top plate. You can't seal that hole - it needs to
be left open for thermal expansion of the liner. The 18-ga.
top clamp mounts under the storm collar and supports the liner by
providing a brace against the top plate.

Top-Mounting Hardware Assembled On HomeSaver
RoundFlex
This is how your typical HomeSaver
RoundFlex installation looks on top. The top plate is
generally sealed to the top of the crown or flue tile with silicone
sealant. (Naturally, the piece of Flex showing below the top
plate would be concealed within the chimney in a typical
installation.) See installation instructions for complete
details on your top termination.
Regular Rain Cap and Guardian
Cap
Though it's clear we prefer the HomeSaver
Pro Guardian Cap (See more options) for RoundFlex installations,
our regular rain cap (shown in first picture) is also UL/ULC
Listed and
certainly does a fine job. And it's the same rain cap
recommended for use with Heat-Fab Saf-T Liner
installations. Installation is simple - slide the cap
into your HomeSaver RoundFlex and attach with stainless
screws. Second picture shows our Guardian Cap
available with 5/8" and 3/4" mesh.

This rain cap is a great choice for your
HomeSaver RoundFlex installations. Made of 100%, 304-alloy
stainless steel, this cap features an inverted cone underneath its
lid that directs creosote back down into the flue rather than onto
the roof and exterior masonry surfaces, its 3/4" mesh is
removable. Cap is available in 5" - 8" diameters.
