Heat-Fab Saf-T Liner 24-Ga. Stainless Relining Pipe
Saf-T-Liner comes pre-drilled, with pop rivets included. For insulation, use Heat-Fab Saf-T Wrap - metal-jacketed sections of ceramic blanket that snap and lock around your pipe, see below. You can also order 6", 7" and 8" diameter 304 Saf-T-Liner in pre-insulated 48" lengths. Saf-T-Liner is UL Listed to the 1777 Standard (where 1" clearance from chimney exterior to combustibles is present) when Saf-T Wrap insulation is used. We stock 304-alloy Saf-T-Liner in 5" -12" diameters and 316-alloy in 5" - 8" diameters. 5" - 8" diameters in both alloys are UL Listed.

These plates are part of the UL/ULC system Listed in 5"-12" diameters for use with Heat-Fab Saf-T Liner. The hole in these plates is sized just big enough to let Heat-Fab Saf-T Liner to slip through during an installation and allow for thermal expansion. Naturally, these can be used either as a top plate - sealing the top of an installation, or as a bottom plate - giving bottom support for a fireplace reline. In the latter instance, these plates work perfectly when used in combination with our Bottom Plate Leg Support System, featured in Reliner Adaptors, Etc.

UL Listed Heat-Fab Saf-T-Wrap Insulation
To the right of that we show a section of Saf-T Wrap standing loosely around a 2' section of Saf-T Liner. Just compress the Saf-T Wrap around the Saf-T Liner by hand, and then the two edges snap and lock together. Crimp the top, remembering to leave 3" - 8" of liner uninsulated below the top plate and you're done. Pictured at the bottom left is a 2' section of Saf-T Liner with the Saf-T Wrap snapped and locked in place. For insulating a tee, Heat-Fab provides a special notched sections. We have pictured one in place around a tee, see photo at bottom right. Saf-T Wrap Insulation sections are sold in packs of eight for 5" and 6" diameter pipe, packs of four sections for 7" and 8" pipe, and packs of two for 9" - 12" diameter pipe. Notched tee sections are sold singly. Heat-Fab's UL Listing requires 1" of clearance from the exterior of the chimney to combustibles.

Each piece of Saf-T-Liner is constructed of seam-welded,
24-ga. stainless steel. 304-alloy carries a lifetime
workmanship and materials warranty for wood burning applications,
316 carries a 10-year warranty for coal.
Heat-Fab adjustable lengths are pre-made pieces of pipe
within a pipe that telescope from 50" to 90". Use at the top
of your relining installation.
These 18-ga. 304-Alloy
HomeSaver Top/Bottom Plates with rounded corners feature a nice,
tall, raised lip around the hole. See price list for specific
sizes for top plates with 5"-10" diameter holes. Plates with
11" and 12" holes are available in 18" x 18" only. Special
Order Plates are available, 
The
Regular Tee is our most basic tee. It does not have a
removable take-off. Instead the take-off is permanently welded
to the body so an entry hole must usually be made at the bottom of
your installation to use this tee. 
A better solution is
to simply lower the Tee With Removable Take-Off attached to the
bottom of your pipe. Then reach in through the thimble and
attach the take-off with screwdriver. There's an easy-to-reach
mounting point inside the take-off. 
The Short Tee With
Long, Removable, Crimped Take-Off has a short body to negotiate
flues more easily. It also features a 10" take-off. 
The Inside Dual-Mount
Tee With Removable Take-Off is similar to our other tees, except the
removable take-off mounts to two internal screw-on tabs on each side
of the tee body, rather than an outside wrap-around band that mounts
on one side. This tee is available in 304-alloy, 6" and 8"
diameters. 
The 304-alloy Tee With
Different-Sized Removable Take-Off features a removable take-off
that mounts to two internal screw-on tabs on each side of the tee
body. 
The slip connector is
the "universal joint" of relining pipe. It allows you to give a
smooth, secure fit to your jobs where the standard lengths don't
come out "exactly right." The non-slip end is the female
end. The male end slips inside the next section of pipe as for
as necessary to get a final fit. The 24-ga. stainless steel
slip connector is 18" long and offers a full 14" of pipe length to
"work" with. 
Reducers and
increasers allow you to connect pipe of different diameters.
The reducer (on left) has a crimp on the large end. The
increaser (on right) has a crimp on the small end. Remember,
for all solid fuel installations, the connections must be installed
with the male end down. 
Use our galvanized
thimble as a sleeve when running a stovepipe through the side of a
masonry chimney. Keep its inner end flush with the inside flue
surface. The thimble is 12" long, meets NFPA 211 Standards,
cuts easilly, and is sized to accommodate 6" or 8" diameter
pipe. Inside dimensions are 6 3/16" and 8 3/16" respectively,
which allow the pipe to pass through easily. 
Use the chimney top adaptor sleeve if you want to
finish the top of your relining installation with a mortared crown
rather than an 18-ga. top plate. The relining pipe slides
through the chimney top adaptor sleeve, allowing for thermal
expansion. The 5" tabs rest on top of the masonry chimney,
centering the whole installation while you pour your mortar
crown.

Here's how to
insulate Heat-Fab Saf-T-Liner in order to meet its UL 1777
Listing. Just snap these metal jacketed sections of ceramic
blanket insulator around your Heat-Fab Saf-T-Liner pipe. In
the upper-left-hand corner we show a section of Saf-T Wrap standing
alone. Each 2' section is constructed of corrosion-resistant
aluminum with a 1/4" thick inner liner of ceramic
blanket.
Though it's clear we prefer the 
A storm collar minimizes moisture entry
through the hole in the top plate. You can't seal that hole -
it needs to be left open for thermal expansion of the liner.
The 18-ga. top clamp mounts under the storm collar and supports the
liner by providing a brace against the top plate.
