Heat-Fab Saf-T Liner 304/316-Alloy Rigid Reline Pipe

Heat-Fab Saf-T Vent is the product to choose for rigid gas relining.

Saf-T Vent is UL Listed to the 1738 Standard for condensing gas appliances, as a chimney liner and as a gas vent connector. It's also UL Listed to the 1777 Standard. Please click here to view a copy of UL installation instructions for specific details.

Saf-T-Vent carries a 10-year warranty for gas.

No insulation is required for the UL 1738 Listing. Performance will actually be enhanced in all instances when insulation is used.

Heat-Fab Saf-T Vent has a unique, patented pop rivet-free locking system, described below. We stock popular lengths, tees, rain caps, elbows, etc. in 5" and 6" diameters.

PRODUCT NOTE: Heat-Fab pipe and fittings can be used in conjunction with HomeSaver RoundFlex Liner. If Heat-Fab is installed above the Flex in an installation, no adaptor is needed. If the Flex is installed above Heat-Fab, use a connector-adaptor for the connection.

Top/Face Plate

You need two of these 304-alloy stainless steel top/face plates for a UL Listed Heat-Fab gas relining system;

one to terminate the liner on top and
one to block off the hole surrounding the tee take-off.

The top/face plate is 16" X 16".

Storm Collar and Top Clamp

roundflex collar clamp.jpg A storm collar minimizes moisture entry through the hole in the top plate. You can't seal that hole - it needs to be left open for thermal expansion of the liner. The 18-ga. top clamp mounts under the storm collar and supports the liner by providing a brace against the top plate.

Saf-T Vent Locking Ring And Tab System

Here we see the male and female ends about to be joined together.

Note the locking ring located a couple of inches up from the bottom of the male end.

Here the two ends have been joined and the locking tabs slid underneath the locking ring. Now that the tabs are under the ring, they are simply folded over. The joint is locked in place without pop rivets! The tabs are durable and yet can easily be bent by hand.
