The 13 foot Kidde Escape Ladder for two-story homes uses hooks that attach to any window and an easy to deploy rung release system that is always tangle free. Simple to use, just hang the ladder on the window with the stand-offs facing you. The unfolded rungs hang outside the window. then pull the tab and the ladder will release and extend under its own weight. Features anti-slip rungs and will hold up to 1,000.lbs.

Woodstoves and Fireplaces can be dangerous settings for small children. You will be happy to find such an elegant solution for your safety concerns for your children around the fireplace. Add optional sections to make a larger safety zone.

Here is an effective way to protect children from the heat and fire of barbeques, fireplaces, and woodstoves, as well as the dangerous corners and edges of hearths. The standard gate fits hearths 6' wide by 2' deep. Large areas may require additional sections, sold separately. Five 24" interlocking sections adjust in 10 degree increments. They can be angled or set in a straight line as needed. Included in the five-piece set is a walk-through gate section that opens in either direction with a simple one hand adult release. The hearth gate measures 29 1/2" high and is constructed of strong tubular steel with a black, non-toxic, heat resistant finish that is easy to maintain and blends with any decor.
